Sharon Easley McLain fell in love with horses at a young age and took her first riding lessons when she was 10 years old. She grew up showing horses. After earning a degree in equine studies, she was also invited to teach at the college. She has taught professionally for about 30 years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Spiritwood Riding Center is a family-oriented facility. Its lessons place a high priority on developing not just riding skills, but horsemanship too. Boarding is attentive to horses' needs including turnout, blanketing and choice of feeds.
